Growing up on Prudence Island the subject of book signing and reading at Linden Place Mansion

Linden Place Mansion will host a reading and book signing with The Ferry Home author, Debbie Kaiman Tillinghast, on Thursday, December 10.

Step back in time to a simpler life as you hear about growing up in the 1950s on the small island of Prudence just off the Bristol coast. Experience the rhythm of life on Prudence Island, the ebb and flow of changing tides and seasons, and the patterns and relationships that emerge. As Debbie’s vivid accounts unfold, you will feel like you too have just stepped off the ferry and been embraced by the tiny Prudence Island community.

Copies of Tillinghast’s book will be available for sale. Admission is free for Linden Place and $5 for non-members. Reservations are recommended as space is limited.

Please call the Linden Place office at 401-253-0390 or e-mail at info@lindenplace.org for more information or to make reservations.
