On Friday, April 13, students got out to enjoy the beautiful weather to celebrate Earth Day.
According to Kym Januario of the Guiteras Community Group, many students walked to school, departing from the corner of Chestnut and Hope Street, while others biked to school departing from .
"Upon morning arrival, the entire school walked around the beautiful grounds of Guiteras, with stops along the way to participate in a 'Scavenger Hunt' where they discovered Earth Day facts," Januario said. "To show their spirit, they all wore their Guiteras t-shirts and Mrs. Bruno’s third Grade class even made wacky Earth Day Hats!"
