John H. Barbosa, 92, Born in Azores

John H. Barbosa, of Bourne Street, Bristol, passed away on November 12, 2013. He was 92.

He was the husband of Mary (Rodrigues) Barbosa. Born in Ponta Delgada, St. Michael, he was the son of the late Henrique Caetano Jose de Medeiros and Maria da Conceicao (Pedro) Barbosa.

He was the brother of Maria Jose Barbosa and the late Mario Medeiros, Manuel Medeiros, Jose Medeiros, Maria de Conceicao Medeiros, Maria Jose Medeiros and Henrique Medeiros. John is also survived by many godchildren, nieces and nephews.

His funeral will be held Saturday, Nov. 16, from the George Lima Funeral Home, 367 High St.,Bristol, with a Mass of Christian Burial, at 9 am at St. Elizabeth Church, 577 Wood St. Burial will follow in North Burial Ground, Bristol.
