Kick Off Recovery Month with Annual Rally 4 Recovery Celebration

On September 10, 2023, Bristol Health Equity Zone (HEZ) and East Bay Recovery Center will co-host Rally 4 Recovery at the Bristol Town Beach Pavilion from 12 to 3 p.m. Rally 4 Recovery is an annual community event in September celebrating National Recovery Month. The event will feature recovery support resource tables, speakers, live music from Neal and the Vipers, and free refreshments. Whether you or a loved one is in recovery, or you simply want to show your support, everyone is welcome to attend.

Melissa Goldstein, Director of Bristol HEZ, shares, “This event has been an annual tradition since 2016 with a brief pause due to COVID-19. We are grateful for the partnership with East Bay Recovery Center as they support many of our community members in Bristol, Warren, and others across Rhode Island.”

Health Equity Zones are an initiative of the Rhode Island Department of Health. East Bay Community Action Program (EBCAP), a private, non-profit 501 (c) (3) corporation providing a wide array of health and human services to the residents of Rhode Island’s East Bay region, is the backbone agency for the Bristol, Warren, and East Providence Health Equity Zones.
