Letter: Get Ready for the Mt. Hope Spring Musical
A letter to the Editor from Mt. Hope Masquerader, Ava Mascena.

The Mt. Hope Masaqueraders have been putting up fliers around the community to advertise their spring musical, “Beauty and the Beast”. Is it too early to advertise? Not according to the Masqueraders. They want to give you plenty of time in which to make plans to attend the play. Their goal is to fill up the audience with patrons. Please come out to support the students and have a good time. The play runs from May 3-6 in the auditorium.
The kids are placing a poster at the . The pizzeria is helping promote tickets sales for the play by giving five dollars off a large pizza for anyone bringing in a ticket purchased at the box office. The offer runs from April 26 until May 2, 2012. The Box Office will be located in the foyer of the auditorium at Mt. Hope on April 26,30 and May 1,2 from 5-7pm. So buy your tickets early and enjoy a great pizza.
Mt. Hope is recouping from hosting the RI State Drama Festival. The following Mt Hope actors: Alex O’Hanley, Carla Braga, Jane Carney, and Makaela Impagliazzo received All-State Acting Awards for their performances in the Mt Hope production of the “The Brothers Grimm Spectaculathon” presented at the drama festival. Two additional Mt Hope actors won awards at the drama festival. The Stanley Anderson award for Technical Merit went to Kenny Johnson and the Terry Murray Award for Acting Excellence went to Samantha Egge. The performance by Mt Hope received an excellent rating by the judges. These talented actors are now preparing their roles in the Disney play, “Beauty and the Beast”. It will be a great play to bring the family to.
