Little Compton Police Charge Warren Woman with Stealing Car
Police responded to a suspicious vehicle report and found a car stolen out of Swansea, Mass.
Little Compton police charged a 36-year-old Warren woman with receiving stolen goods and a warrant after they stopped him in a stolen car on South Shore Road June 30.
Police said Stacy L. Prevost was arrested after police were dispatched to an area of South Shore Road for a report of a suspicious vehicle.
Prevost, who was behind the wheel, was found to have a revoked driver’s license and a court warrant. Police also discovered that the car she was driving was stolen from Swansea, Mass.

Prevost was arraigned at District Court and released on surety bail. She is due to return to court on July 7.
