Local Artists John Tolley & Geri McIntosh Showcasing at RE/MAX River's Edge

Local Artist John Tolley & Geri McIntosh will be showcasing at 47 Bradford St, Bristol, RI from April 30th - June 5th

Local Watercolor Artist John Tolley & Local Artist Geri McIntosh will be showcasing their work at RE/MAX River’s Edge’s Bristol Office located at 47 Bradford Street, Bristol, RI from Thursday, April 30th, 2015 until Friday, June 5th, 2015.

They will be hosting an Opening Reception Friday, May 8th, 2015 from 5:30 PM - 8:00 PM and will be hosting an Art Night Gallery Night Thursday, May 28th, 2015 from 5:30 PM - 8:00 PM

John Tolley is a Bristol based watercolor artist, but also paints in oils and creates works using colored pencils. His work most often reflects the local scenery en plein air. John has twice won awards at Jay Barry Arts Festival and he teaches watercolor painting for adults and children at the Portsmouth Arts Guild.

Geri is an English artist working in painting, stained glass and ceramics. She is currently visiting from the UK and residing in Bristol for an extended period.
Geri will exhibit a collection of nine oil paintings painted during 2014 and inspired by Rhode Island and Massachusetts. This collection reflects Geri’s passion for living in New England and being outdoors, in touch with the astonishing abundance of nature in the gardens, woodlands and along the coast line on a daily basis.
Geri likes her paintings to reflect life through her exciting use of color, texture and lively expressive application. She uses a variety of techniques depending on the subject creating a very individual approach to each piece of work.
