Micky Ward to Visit Bristol Saturday
Ultimate Fitness Gym hosts the champion boxer for a fundraiser to benefit the Kids with Food Allergies Foundation.

Get some tips on boxing and fitness from one of the biggest stars of the sport while supporting a foundation to help kids stay safe in the cafeteria.
will host Micky "Irish" Ward — the junior welterweight boxer portrayed by Mark Wahlberg in the film "The Fighter" — for a charity event during the gym's open house. Visitors can get pictures with Ward, hear tales of his storied career and even box a bit during the live sparring sessions.The event benefits the Kids with Food Allergies Foundation.
"This is going to be a spectacular event," UFG owner Jesse Amarelo said in a release. "Micky Ward is a living legend. The Kids with Food Allergies Foundation is an important charity that does amazing work."

The event, which kicks off at 11 a.m. Saturday, will feature boxing legends, promoters, live sparring and special prizes. Ward will be available for photos from noon to 2 p.m. Long-time boxing and MMA promoter Jimmy Burchfield’s Classic Entertainment and Sports — New England's largest boxing promotion firm — will also be there, as will third-degree blackbelt James Leite.
“The UFG Boxing Club is very excited to be the official CES Boxing and MMA representative in East Bay," Amarelo said. "Jimmy Burchfield’s CES is committed to being the best that they can be, as we are also, and together we are going to do big things. This is just the tip of the iceberg.
