New Summer Basketball League Seeks Team Signups
The league will play at Burrs Hill Park this summer.
Several local residents have teamed up to form a new summer mens basketball league at and is seeking several teams to join the group.
"Right now we have 6 teams signed up," said Adam Tracy, one of the league's organizers. "We are only excepting 12 teams, and we hope to fill the league up or at least get 8 teams."

- Team Name
- Team Captain & email address
- Roster (10 man maximum)
The league fee is $400 which is due on June 1. Teams must supply their own jerseys with numbers on the back. The 12-game season begins July 12, and games will be held on Tuesday and Thursday nights at 7 and 8 pm.
Tracy and his friends also put together The King of the Hill (KOTH) basketball tournament at Burrs hill last summer to raise money to fix the courts. According to Tracy, resurfacing and repainting both courts will begin in May, and at the end of June the KOTH tournament will be held again to raise money to get all new glass backboards installed before the beginning of the league's season.

"The courts are going to be beautiful and we hope the summer league will be a big success," he said.
