No Charges After Car Crashes Into Hope Street Office Building
Police say a woman was parking on Hope Street when her car jumped the curb. No charges are being filed at this time.
BRISTOL, RI — A driver attempting to park on the west side of Hope Street on Monday afternoon accidentally drove over the curb and crashed into the building at 495 Hope St. The accident happened around 3:51 p.m., police said.
No one was injured. The building inspector was contacted and will assess the integrity of the structure.
Police say the accident is still under investigation, but no charges are being filed at this time. The driver was not identified except to say she is 65 and from Warren.
