Not a Typo: Gas Drops to $1.99 in Rhode Island
One station in Cranston on Tuesday was selling it for $1.95—the cheapest in the state.

You read that correctly—gas has dropped below $2 a gallon in Rhode Island.
The Lucky Mart in Cranston Tuesday morning had the cheapest gas in the state at $1.95, according to GasBuddy.
Rhode Island gas prices this week hit an average of $2.30—down more than a dollar from a year ago, according to AAA Southern New England. The national average is currently about $2.12.

Prices will likely continue to fall through June, Bloomberg reported.
