Obituary: Charlotte F. Church, 100, Bristol
Mrs. Church was active in community organizations

Charlotte F. Church, 100, of Bristol passed away June 25 at her home surrounded by her loving family.
She was a daughter of the late John W. Church, Bristol Town Clerk for 37 years, and Ida (Coggeshall) Church. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Ralph T. Church, and her brother, John W. Church, Jr.
Mrs. Church was a graduate of Colt Memorial High School (1933) and a graduate of Rhode Island School of Design (1937-38). She worked at the Industrial Trust Bank in Bristol and with the American Red Cross. She was a member of the Daughters of the American Revolution, The Society of Mayflower Decedents, the Bristol Womenās Charitable Society and a former member of the Bristol Yacht Club.

Mrs. Church is survived by her nephews, John W. Church III, and Robert P. Church (Melodie); the late W. Lincoln Mossop Jr. family; the Materna and Wannerstorm families, E. Peter Church (Margaret); niece Deborah C. Boardman (Bruce), as well as her devoted caregivers, Esther Samuel who was loved as an adopted daughter, Rose Morris and Aleia Pontes. Special thanks to Dr. Geoffrey R. Hamilton, Suzanne Conley and her Hospice team at VNS of Newport and Bristol Counties.
Services will be held at The First Congregational Church, High Street, Bristol on Wednesday, July 1, at 11 a.m. followed by burial at the North Burial Ground in Bristol. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in her memory can be made to the Coggeshall Farm Museum, 1 Colt Drive, Bristol, Rhode Island 02809 or online at www.coggeshallfarm.org.
