Obituary: Jennie (Carloni) Centazzo
The 89-year-old Bristol resident will be laid to rest Friday at 11 a.m.

Mrs. Jennie (Carloni) Centazzo, 89, of 153 Fatima Drive, Bristol, died peacefully Saturday, Sept. 29, at the Grace Barker Nursing Center, Warren, surrounded by her loving family.
She was the wife of the late Armando Centazzo. Born in Providence and a Bristol resident for most of her life, she was a daughter of the late Joseph and Rosa (Masocci) Carloni. A homemaker, she was a communicant of Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church and will be remembered as an excellent cook to all of her family and friends.
She is survived by two sons, Armand P. "Butch" Centazzo and his wife Jane, and David P. Centazzo and his wife Claire, all of Bristol; a daughter, JoAnn DaPonte and her husband, Manuel, of Warren; a sister, Laura Rego of East Providence; eight grandchildren, Dawn Holmgren, Kevin Centazzo, Kimberly Cataldo, Dena Vezina, Brian DaPonte and Michael Hoffman, all of Bristol, David Centazzo, Jr. of Salem, NH and Nicole Daniello of Warren; and thirteen great grandchildren. In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by three brothers, Agostine B., Italo and Dominic Carloni, and a sister, Mary Burchett.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial, Friday, October 5, 2012 at 11 a.m. in Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church, 141 State St., Bristol. Burial will follow in St. Mary's Cemetery, Chestnut Street, Bristol. Visiting hours are respectfully omitted. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Bristol Rescue Squad, P.O.
