October Sundays at Mount Hope Farm
Sunday, October 25th, 2pm-4pm - Walk the Trail to King Philip's Chair with Alan Leveillee of the RI Public Archaeology Lab
Step back in time and retrace the footsteps of Metacomet, King Philip, Sachem of the Wampanoag Nation. The chair, a natural niche in the granite outcropping along the easterly base of Mount Hope, was the site of Philip’s many councils and audiences. All programs are free and start at the side door of the Governor Bradford House, rain or shine. No reservations needed. Questions, call 401-254-1745.
