The girls defeated Cranston Co-op Monday evening, 5-3, to win the best-of-three semifinal series, said George Finn, Barrington High School athletics director. The teams split two games over the weekend to set up last night’s winner-move-on game at Portsmouth Abbey rink, the home for Barrington Co-op.

The girls will start the best-of-three finals series at Schneider Arena on the Providence College campus with games on Saturday and Sunday at 3:30 pm. If a third game is needed, it will be played next Tuesday night, March 6, at either 6 or 8 pm.
