Pat McCarthy Welcomes Elizabeth Beisel to Aquatics Committee

Elizabeth Beisel, USA SWIM Olympian and RI native, has joined The Bristol Aquatics Center Exploration Committee as an Expert Adviser.

Chairman Pat McCarthy recently welcomed US Olympian and RI native Elizabeth Beisel to The Bristol Aquatics Center Exploration Committee. Ms. Beisel has agreed to join the committee as an Expert Advisor.

The Bristol Aquatics Center Exploration Committee is working to build a swimming facility at the Bristol Parks and Recreation, located at the former Quinta-Gamelin Army Reserve Center on Asylum Road at the Colt State Park entrance.

The members of the Bristol Aquatics Center Exploration Committee are (pictured from left to right): Chip Sweeney, (vice-chairman), Nancy Dobie, Jonathan Dell, Jane Deleo (treasurer), Pat McCarthy (chairman), Elizabeth Beisel, Jim Dollins, Sarah Klein (Recreation Director), Tim Shaw ( asst. recreation director) and Don Squires (recording secretary). Missing were State Representative Susan Donovan and Bristol Town Council vice-chairman Tim Sweeney and Nina Murphy.
