On Thursday, April 5, students from and high schools throughout the state were invited to a at a local business.

, a trendy shop in Warren, hosted the event to gear students up for prom season. The event offered free raffles, treats and services from other local businesses including , Feminine Fancies, Metropolitan Salon & Spa, and Wild Flower Florist, Emma's Edibles and Shaw's Market.

"The event went very well," said Amy Samaha. "We had a great attendance of 26-30 girls and mothers."

Samaha says Blue Suede intends on hosting the event again next year.
