On Oct. 1, the East Bay Warriors Cheerleaders hosted a breast cancer awareness game. All proceeds were donated to the Gloria Gemma Foundation.
Local vendors rented space on the field and raffle baskets were raffled off throughout the day. Cheerleaders sold bracelets and light up pins for the foundation and handed out resource booklets. Shirts were made up with the slogan, "I'm a Warrior", and they are still being sold.
The lfield was lined in pink with painted pink bows. Approximately 150 pink balloons were lined around the field and at each half time a survivor ceremony was held, allowing an opportunity for survivors to come down on the field and receive a pink ribbon, carnation and balloon.
