Letter: Support the Mt. Hope Masqueraders at the RI Drama Festival
The Mt. Hope Masqueraders will be hosting the Rhode Island State Drama Festival this March.

The Masqueraders will be performing the play, “The Brothers Grimm Spectaculathon” in the RI State Drama Festival on Saturday, March 17 at 1 pm at the Mt. Hope Performing Arts Center.
Mt. Hope is also proud to announce that the school will be hosting the State Drama Festival for Rhode Island high school students on March 16 and 17th. The festival will feature works from 11 high schools throughout the state including Barrington High School, Beacon Charter High School for the Arts, Bishop Hendricken High School, Cumberland High School, Mt. Hope High School, St. Mary Academy-Bay View, St. Raphael High School, Scituate High School, South Kingstown High School, and Westerly High School. The shows will run from 6 pm to 9:30 pm on Friday, and from 8 am to 11 pm on Saturday.
Performances are open to the public with an admission fee of $5 per session or $10 for the day. You're welcome to come for the day or to your favorite high school’s performance to show your support for the students.

Mt. Hope High School hopes to repeat last years’ success in winning the Drama Festival title and attending the regional drama festival being held in New Hampshire on April 26th, 27th and 28th.
The Masqueraders are planning a preview performance which will be open to the public on March 14th at 7 pm. Tickets will be on sale at the door for a donation of $5. Two tickets to the spring musical “Beauty and the Beast” will also be raffled off as a door prize.
