RI's Oldest Italian Feast is in Bristol this Wknd (July 11-14)

Our Lady of Mount Carmel Catholic Church will celebrate it's 121st Annual Feast on the Bristol Town Common the weekend of 11-14 July.

Rhode Island’s oldest Italian Feast will be celebrated on the Bristol Town Common this weekend. Our Lady of Mount Carmel Catholic Church will hold its annual celebration July 11th-14th 2019 under a big top tent across from the church on State Street.

The Feast (in its 121st year) features wonderful Italian food, live music, children’s activities & inflatables, raffles for cash & prizes, games of chance & skill, and more. Musical performances are scheduled on Friday, Saturday and Sunday by Timeless, Doug Botelho and Triad, respectively.

New this year: a 50/50 Raffle and a couple of special Silent Auctions. Prize money for the 50/50 has grown to $750 in advance of the Feast. Tickets will be sold, and the pot will continue to grow, until a winner is drawn on Saturday night. This year’s Silent Auctions include 4 tickets to a Preseason Patriots game and 2 tickets to see Hamilton at PPAC.

All are invited to join the parish in honor of the Blessed Mother on Sunday at 2PM for a Living Rosary in the church (141 State Street) followed by a Procession and Solemn Benediction.

Festivities under the tent run until 10PM Fri-Sun. The fun begins at 5PM on Friday and Saturday and 4PM Sunday. Thursday the kitchen only is open with a special menu from 5PM – 8PM. There’s a Children’s Special on Sunday (4-6PM) with two-for-one priced children’s activities.
