Roger Williams University to Announce New President
Roger Williams University will unveil the identity of the University's 10th president.

After months of deliberation, Roger Williams University will announce its 10th president on Tuesday afternoon.
The University has been led by interim president, Ronald O. Champagne, Ph.D since last fall, after the sudden resignation of former president Roy Nirschel. Over the last few months, the RWU Board of Trustees and Presidential search committee had narrowed the number of candidates down to three and recently came to a final decision.
At 1 p.m., on Tuesday, Richard Bready, Chairman of the RWU Board of Trustees, will unveil the identity of the University's new president. The President-Elect will take office on July 1, 2011.
