Scammers Faking Bristol Police Fundraiser
Anyone who feels they may be a victim of this scam is asked to call Bristol police at 401-2543-6900.
BRISTOL, RI — The Bristol Police Department asked the public to be on the lookout for a phone scam.
Police said the scammers are posing as people running a fundraiser for the Bristol Police Department. The department is not currently running a fundraiser, police said.
