Bristol Warren Schools to Start Next Week

Students who expected to start the school year on Tuesday, August 30, may have been relieved to hear that school was postponed to Wednesday. But now, students who are dreading going back to school get a chance to bask in the sun for an additional week before hitting the books again.

According to the Bristol Warren Regional School District, schools have postponed opening in light of the damage and power outages caused by Tropical Storm Irene. Schools in the Bristol Warren school district will open for the first day on Tuesday, September 6. 

Note: Mt. Carmel School is also scheduled to start school on Tuesday, September 6.
