Loveday is a musical creation born of Nicole Cooney, local artist, musician, actor and unschooling mother. Nicole has been singing since she could make sound and performing perhaps as long. Her musical influences include Americana and Country Music, Musical Theatre, Opera, Pop, Alt & Prog Rock. Nicole, as of late, has performed with the Providence theatre company The Wilbury Group, directed, composed, and performed in various productions with The Manton Avenue Project, been a re-occuring character in 95 Empire's The Coincidental Hour, guest starred in The Empire Revue, danced and sang the nights away in David Tessier's All Star Band of All Stars' production of Jesus Christ Superstar, composed the music for Andy Kaufman's musical comedy Bohemia West, and composed a piece for a short film by Mars Gas Films. This spring Loveday was Nominated for 2 Motif Music Awards.
