View Finder: Mt. Hope Girls' Lacrosse Team Celebrates Senior Night

Tuesday’s match concluded the scholastic athletic careers of eight Husky seniors – Brittany Terra, Mara Newland, Brittany Gamon, Abbigale Booth, Chelsea McWilliams, Abigail Pattie, Jessica Varrichione and Dyshell Palmer.

For Tuesday evening's game, the playing field was decorated with balloons, posters and a paper cup displays honoring the seniors. All eight were feted (along with their parents) during a halftime ceremony on the field.

“I can’t say enough about what these eight girls have done for our program over the past four years,” said Mt. Hope Coach Kerri Ferreira. “They took us to the highest level of play in Rhode Island – Division I. What they’ve done for us has been unbelievable and we will miss them.”
