Viewfinder: One Sunny Day on the Grounds of Blithewold
Plein air painters, an aspiring writer, far flung visitors and kid campers spent their Wednesday afternoon at Blithewold.
The heat did not deter visitors to on Wednesday afternoon.
Plein air painters, who got in for free that day, enjoyed sitting in the shade and painting the grounds. An aspiring writer took her iced coffee and got to work out on the back porch of the mansion, Bristol Harbor shimmering in the distance.
Several families with kids played in and around the bamboo gardens, while local kids participated in Camp Sequoia summer activities. One common theme emerged among the disparate groups - peace, calmness and tranquility.
