Warren Teen Hit By Truck: Suffers Minor Injuries: Police

WARREN, RI — A 13-year-old Warren boy was taken to Hasbro Children's Hospital as a precaution, police said, after an accident Wednesday afternoon. According to Deputy Chief Joseph R. Loiselle, the youngster was "partially struck" by a WB Mason truck around 3:15 p.m. He was crossing Metacom Avenue from east to west in the vicinity of Burger King, and the truck was traveling north.

"It does not appear to be serious," he said. "The boy suffered cuts and scrapes scrapes."
