Water Issue At Mt. Hope High School Forces Early Dismissal
"An unexpected situation" arose at Mt. Hope, requiring water to be turned off throughout the building, Bristol Warren school officials say.

BRISTOL, RI ā School officials dismissed students at Mt. Hope High School early Friday, because of a water shut-off in the building.
The early dismissal happened at 11 a.m. because "an unexpected situation" arose at the high school that required water to be turned off throughout the building, Bristol Warren Regional School District officials said on social media.
"We will continue to assess the situation and provide an update to ensure a safe return to school on Monday, September 18th," Mt. Hope High School officials said in a Facebook post.

The cause of the water issue was not made immediately clear.
