What's Open, Closed on Victory Day?

Can you believe Rhode Island is still the only state to celebrate Victory Day? This year, Victory Day falls on Monday, August 8, and many local banks as well as a few local resources will be closed for the holiday.

The following banks will be closed for the holiday:

  464 Hope Street, Bristol
  521 Main Street, Warren 
  (Note: The Citizen's Bank in Stop & Shop will be open on Monday) 
• Bank Newport (6 Gooding Ave)
   323 Market Street, Warren 

The following banks will be open:

• Citizen's Bank, 605 Metacom Avenue, Bristol (Stop and Shop branch) from 11 a.m. - 3 p.m.

The following local resources will be closed:

• Warren Town Hall
• Bristol Town Hall
• No Warren Recreation Camp on Monday

The following local resources will be open:

• The Bristol and Warren Post Office
