Whiz Kids: Bristol Rockets Soccer Score Championship Victory

This week's whiz kids are the members of the U12 Bristol Rockets soccer team.

Names: Olivia Cairrao, Jenna Cimbron, Taylor DeMello, Kayleigh Faria, Josey Foreman, Michaela Goglia, Laura Lopes, Meg O’Brien, Sarina Olson and Georgia Teixeira

Accomplishment: On Saturday June 11, the under 12 Girls Bristol Rockets secured the Superliga spring championships by defeating Portsmouth with a score of 3-2.  Playing in the Anchor division, the Rockets had an undefeated spring season of 8-0 scoring an impressive 38 goals for the season and only 9 goals scored against them. The Rockets are coached by David DeMello, Claudio Faria and Nelson Teixeira.
