Wildcats upset Portsmouth

The Wildcats faced off against Portsmouth Middle School Thursday on their home field.  Both teams were undefeated going into the match with no goals scored against them.  As expected, Portsmouth and KMS battled it out on the field until the end.  A game full of exciting plays, 1 v. 1s, breakaways, outstanding saves in goal, and tough defending – the Wildcats came out on top with the 1-0 win.  The girls did a great job supporting one another from on and off the field!  The team was able to find a balanced focus full of nerves, excitement, enthusiasms, and determination.    GREAT JOB GIRLS!

The girls will start the second half of their season on the road, playing Jenks Junior High on October 8th, at the McKinnon-Alves Soccer Complex in Pawtucket.
