Willow Beeley's Parents Charged: Second Degree Murder
Willow, 7 months old, died of asphyxiation due to an adult rolling over on her, the state medical examiner ruled.

BRISTOL, RI — Willow Beeley, 7 months old, died of asphyxiation last February at her home in Warwick. The cause was due to asphyxiation when an adult rolled over on top of her, the state medical examiner ruled. The Kent County Grand Jury on Monday indicted her parents for second degree murder.
According to Atty. Gen. Peter Kilmartin's office, Ryan Beeley, 38, of Warwick, and Mariah Ramos, 34, of Bristol, are each charged with one count of second degree murder. The indictments were unsealed in Kent County Superior Court on Thursday when the defendants were arraigned before Superior Court Magistrate John F. McBurney. Both defendants pleaded not guilty and were ordered held without bail. Magistrate McBurney set a date of June 15 for separate bail hearings.
Please note: An indictment, information, or complaint is merely an allegation. The U.S. Constitution guarantees that a defendant is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty in a court of law.
