• The beat goes on: Rhythm & Roots back for its 28th year (thewesterlysun.com) — Charlestown's Rhythm & Roots Festival returns to Ninigret Park this Labor Day weekend, bringing three days of live music, camping, and family activities right in town. More than 30 acts, including St. Paul and the Broken Bones, Tower of Power, and Preservation Hall Jazz Band, will perform across three stages, with new youth programs and interactive live art added this year.
