• 'Journey of a lifetime': Mental health advocate reaches RI on walk across U.S. (wpri.com) — A cross-country mental health advocate has now walked through Charlestown as part of his 2,500‑mile trek from Florida to Maine, honoring people lost to addiction and suicide. Kyndal Ray Edwards, who is in long-term recovery himself, is raising funds for an addiction recovery nonprofit and plans to reach Providence before heading into Massachusetts.
