3 DUIs, Shoplifting, More: Coventry Police Arrest Log

COVENTRY, RI — The following people were arrested by Coventry police between Feb. 7 and Feb. 14.

Feb. 7

Joses Gomes, born in 1992, of Warwick, was charged with two counts of possession of a schedule I-V drug (less than 10 grams).

Feb. 8

Charles Kokolsky, born in 1970, of Glocester, was charged with obstructing an officer in the execution of duty.

Feb. 10

Lenny Baker, born in 1980, of Coventry, was charged with domestic violence-disorderly conduct.

Feb. 11

Joseph Lagasse, born in 1969, of Coventry, was charged with DUI (first offense), reckless driving (drag racing, eluding police), obstructing an officer in the execution of duty, resisting legal or illegal arrest, disorderly conduct, refusal to submit to a chemical test, speeding 11+ mph over speed limit, presence of alcohol while operating or riding in a motor vehicle, laned roadway violations, passing vehicle proceeding in opposite direction, operating a motor vehicle with a suspended registration, driving with suspended/revoked/canceled license and operating without evidence of insurance.

Ronald Mallion, born in 1983, of Warwick, was charged with warrant affidavit arrest.

Feb. 12

Howard Bentley, born in 1973, of West Warwick, was charged with DUI (first offense), refusal to submit to a preliminary breath test, refusal to submit to a chemical test, driving with a revoked/suspended/canceled license, head lamps on vehicle other than cycles, laned roadway violations and presence of alcohol while operating or riding in a motor vehicle.

Phillip Thomas, born in 1972, of Coventry, was charged with domestic-simple assault/battery, domestic and disorderly conduct.

Feb. 14

Nicholas Serino, born in 1978, of East Greenwich, was charged with DUI (first offense), refusal to submit to a chemical test, passing a vehicle proceeding in the opposite direction and laned roadway violations.

Andrea Asselin, born in 2001, of West Warwick, was charged with two bench warrants issued from Rhode Island Superior Court and two counts of possession of a schedule I-V drug (less than 10 grams).

Clifford Moten, born in 1979, of Providence, was charged with shoplifting and conspiracy.
