Two men from Brooklyn, New York, and another from Hartford, Connecticut, were also accused of using fake money in East Greenwich.

COVENTRY, RI — Three men were arrested Friday after Coventry police said they caught them with 195 counterfeit $20 bills.
Just after 2:30 p.m., Coventry police officers were called to the Walmart on Centre of New England Boulevard for a report of counterfeit money being used to pay for merchandise at the store. Police said when officers arrived, witnesses told them they saw two suspects run out of the store and get a ride from a third man.
Police said officers found the vehicle on New London Turnpike and pulled the driver over. After questioning the men, police said they determined all three were involved with the counterfeit money.
