$30,000 Mega Millions Ticket Claimed in Coventry

The $30,000 winning ticket from the Mar. 30 drawing was claimed by a man from Coventry who picked the lucky numbers based on birthdates, his anniversary date and how long he and his wife have been together. 

He matched four out of five numbers and the Mega Ball number for a standard payout of $10,000. But, he also added an extra dollar on his wager for the Megaplier feature which tripled his prize. The winning ticket was sold at on Tiogue Avenue.

A $10,000 winning ticket from Friday was also claimed Monday morning by Joseph Cho of Providence and the $250,000 winning ticket from the Mar. 30 drawing still remains unclaimed.
