• Rhode Island Energy says power restored to all customers affected by nor'easter (turnto10.com) — Power has now been fully restored after the late-September nor'easter that knocked out electricity for more than 50,000 Rhode Islanders, including many in Coventry. Rhode Island Energy says crews worked through heavy rain and 55 mph gusts, clearing trees, fixing downed lines, and replacing broken poles to get Coventry and other hard-hit communities reconnected within 48 hours.
