Blue Bloods in Coventry? Police Join "No Shave November:" Start Contest for Best Mustache
The police officers are joining the drive to raise money for a favorite non-profit, while sending up Tom Selleck and other mustached heroes.

COVENTRY, RI —So, Tom Selleck's moustache may have set the mark for the well-groomed policeman, but the Coventry officers aren't too shabby, as they compete for the winning "stache" in Town. It's all for a good cause. The officers decided to participate in 'no shave November' or #Movember to raise money for a favorite charity.
On top of that, though, the department is asking people to drop by their Facebook page and vote for their favorite. In honor of the winner, Col. John S. MacDonald, the chief, will donate $100 toward the police department's "adopt a family" initiative through Human Services' 'Tis the Season' program.
