Missing Coventry Man's Body Identified, State Police Say

WEST GREENWICH, RI — State police said Wednesday a body was discovered in the Big River Management Area of West Greenwich has been identified as Michael Neary, 50, of Coventry. The area had been the focus of a search for mi. His wife reported him missing last Thursday, and his car was later discovered on Burnt Sawmill Road near one of the trails. The state police called off the search Monday after five days, but volunteers continued looking Tuesday and Wednesday. According to state police, an autopsy confirmed the identity and indicated no signs of foul play.
