Coventry Couple Coerced Girl, 14, Into Sex With Alcohol: Police

A Coventry couple is accused of using alcohol to force a 14-year-old into performing sexual acts over the course of several months.

COVENTRY, RI — A Coventry couple has been arrested after police say they encouraged a 14-year-old girl to perform sex acts over the course of several months. Craig Nelson, 33, of Pilgrim Avenue and his girlfriend, Angolina Klink, also known as Angolina Chapasko, 31, have been charged with several sex-related crimes.

According to Coventry polithe pairce, Nelson and Klink encouraged the girl to perform sexual acts on Nelson over the course of several months starting in January 2017. A complaint submitted to the department said that the girl was repeatedly offered alcohol, police said. The Rhode Island Violent Fugitive Task Force assisted in the investigation.

Nelson and Klink were arraigned in Kent County District Court on several counts of the following charges:

Nelson: third-degree sexual assault, procuring alcohol for a minor and contributing to the delinquency of a minor.

Klink: indecent solicitation of a child, procuring alcohol for a minor and contributing to the delinquency of a minor.
