Coventry Court Log: DUIs, Domestic Strangulation, Felony Child Abuse

The following court cases were heard in Kent County District Court on July 15.

The following matters were heard in Kent County District Court on July 15 and compiled by the Coventry Police Department.

Richard A. Bell, 28 of 2.5 Andrews Ave., West Warwick, pleaded no contest to three charges of simple assault. He was sentenced to one year, suspended, and nine months home confinement.

Shanon Lee Dalton, 29, of 1125 Main St., Coventry, pleaded no contest to attempting to obtain money under false pretenses. She was sentenced to six months of probation.

Garrick C. Guillemette, 25, of 44.5 George St., North Providence, pleaded no contest to simple assault. The case was filed for one year and he was ordered to complete 25 hours of community service.

Wayne Hannagan, 46, of 17 Alexandre Road, Coventry, pleaded innocent to domestic malicious damage and domestic disorderly conduct. The case was dismissed.

Shawn P. Larkin, 19, of 176 Hammet Road, Coventry, pleaded no contest to domestic disorderly conduct. The case was filed for one year and a no-contact order was issued.

Edward Livingstone, 51, of 11 River St., Apt. 11B, Smithfield, pleaded no contest to shoplifting. He was sentenced to one year, suspended with probation.

Ryan J. McEvoy, 19, of 16 Apple Blossom Lane, Coventry, pleaded no contest to larceny and two counts of attempted larceny. He was sentenced to one year, suspended, and ordered to obtain counseling. The attempted larceny charges were dismissed.

Christoper N. Oates, 27, of 1631 Flat River Road, Coventry, pleaded innocent to domestic assault, domestic vandalism and domestic disorderly conduct. The charges were dismissed.

Brenden T. Sackal, 21, of 197 Katelyn Court, Warwick, pleaded no contest to trespassing and two counts of shoplifting. She was sentenced to one year of probation and ordered to obtain counseling. The trespassing charge was dismissed.

Mario N. Aguiar, 33, of 37 Shippee Ave., West Warwick, pleaded innocent to shoplifting. He was released on $5,000 personal recognizance until Aug. 5.

Melanie H. Fox, 39, of 17 Vera Road, Coventry, pleaded innocent to shoplifting. She was released on $1,000 surety bail until July 28.

Ryan J. Malo, 23, of 156 South Main St., Coventry, pleaded innocent to resisting arrest. He was released on $5,000 personal recognizance until July 29.

Dennis J. Maroney, 57, of 757 Phillips Hill Road, Coventry, entered no plea to a charge of felony second-degree child abuse. He was released on $10,000 personal recognizance until Sept. 14.

Donna Marshall, 56, of 6 Reservoir Road, Coventry, pleaded innocent to domestic disorderly conduct. She was released on $5,000 personal recognizance until July 22.

Sastia Montilla, 38, of 43 hiloh St., Providence, pleaded innocent to shoplifting. She was released on $5,000 personal recognizance until Aug. 26.

Derek J. Pettinato, 42, of 3 Tarragon Drive, Johnston, entered no plea to domestic strangulation, domestic assault and domestic malicious damage. He was released on $5,000 personal recognizance until Aug. 10.

Jarred L. Prete, 24, of 35 West Warwick Ave., West Warwick, pleaded innocent to reckless driving, obstruction of justice and driving with an expired license. He was released on $5,000 personal recognizance until July 20.

Heather M. Ruge, 26, of 119 Washington St., West Warwick, pleaded innocent to shoplifting and conspiracy. She was released on $2,000 surety bail until Aug. 4.

Nathaniel Russell, 59, of 29 Grant Drive, Coventry, pleaded innocent to driving under the influence, second offense, and refusing a chemical test. He was released on $5,000 personal recognizance until July 30.

Richard Testa, 24, of 15 Majorie St., Coventry, pleaded innocent to domestic assault, resisting arrest, domestic disorderly conduct and malicious damage. He was released on $3,000 surety bail until Aug. 19.

Thomas Rapoza, 34, of 52 Arizona St., Coventry, pleaded no contest to driving under the influence. He was fined $100, ordered to complete 10 hours of community service and attend DWI school.
