Coventry Man Pointed Gun at Stepson, Police Say

A Coventry man was charged with assaulting his stepson and pointing a gun at him on Poor Farm Road over the weekend.

Kevin J. Donnelly, 52, was charged with felony-level assault and disorderly conduct.

Police said Donnelly was arrested after they received information that there was a possible domestic incident at 100 Poor Farm Road. Officers said he pointed a gun at his 28-year-old stepson and fled the scene. Donnelly was arrested at the Hampton Inn in Coventry a short time later. His gun was recovered in Exeter at a family member's home.
