Coventry Police Blotter: Recent Arrests Through May 13

Here are arrests from the Coventry police log.

COVENTRY, RI — Police charged 16 people from May 11 through May 13, including one case opened on May 7. Eight were cited for traffic violations. Two were accused of vandalism, and a third person was charged with Domestic vandalism. Two people were taken into custody on warrants. One suspect was charged with shoplifting. One person was charged with larceny, and one person was charged with embezzlement.

May 7 (Reported)

Matthew Curran, 38 or 39, of Coventry, was charged with Vandalism (malicious injury to property).

May 11

Casey M. Daniels, 35 or 36, of East Providence, was charged with Driving after the license was denied, revoked or suspended, second offense.

Scott T. Flippo, 54 or 55, of Coventry, was taken into custody on a Third District Court warrant.

Angel M. Otero, 23 or 24, of Warwick, was charged with Driving after his license was denied, revoked or suspended, first offense.

Justin M. Burgess, 23 or 24, of West Warwick, was charged with embezzlement (fraudulent conversion over $100).

George E. Brailey, 21 or 22, of West Warwick, was charged with Domestic vandalism (malicious injury to property); and Domestic disorderly conduct.

Brianna L. Rothermel, 19 or 20, of North Kingstown, was charged with shoplifting, a misdemeanor.

Kenneth M. Chase, 45 or 46, of Coventry, was charged with Driving after the license was denied, revoked or suspended, first offense; and Driving with an expired registration.

May 12

Jamiel L. King, 36 or 37, of Providence, was charged with Driving after the license was denied, revoked or suspended, first offense; Driving with an expired registration; and head lamps (on vehicles other than cycles).

John P. McEvoy, 23 or 24, of Cranston, was charged with Driving after his license was denied, revoked or suspended, third offense; Driving an unregistered vehicle; Driving a motor vehicle without insurance, third and subsequent offense; Driving an unsafe vehicle.

May 13

Andrew J. Gould, 42 or 43, of West Warwick, was charged with Driving after his license was denied, revoked or suspended, third offense; lane violations; Driving an unregistered vehicle; Driving a motor vehicle without evidence of insurance, first offense; improper use of evidence of registration or certificate.

Robert J. Shaw, 23 or 24, of Coventry, was charged with Driving after his license was denied, revoked or suspended, third offense.

Joseph M. Ferreira, 33 or 34, of Coventry, was charged with Driving without a license (or with an expired license), second offense; and Operating an unregistered vehicle.

Kyle Lyons, 27 or 28, of West Warwick, was charged with Vandalism (malicious injury to property); and Disorderly conduct.

David J. Mastrofine, 18 or 19, of Coventry, was charged with two counts of larceny under $1,500.

Kenneth Jordan, 26 or 27, of Coventry, was taken into custody on a Superior Court warrant.
