Coventry Police ID Injured Construction Worker

The 35-year-old man was hurt when a house foundation collapsed. He left the emergency room at Rhode Island Hospital on Monday afternoon.

COVENTRY, RI — Coventry police have identified the construction worker who was injured Monday when a Scott Hollow house foundation collapsed. Noe Salguero, 35, of Providence, was flown to Rhode Island Hospital by medical helicopter after Coventry and North Kingstown crews rescued him. He was able to leave the hospital emergency room Monday afternoon, according to Col. John S. MacDonald, the police chief.

The accident is still under investigation by the Occupational Safety and Health Administration, the state Department of Labor and Training and Coventry police.
