COVENTRY, RI — Police arrested six suspects. They also cited two motorists for traffic violations. Information is from the police log.

July 1

Thomas William Foley, 45 or 46, of Coventry, was charged with Domestic Assault or Battery, third offense, and Domestic Disorderly Conduct.

July 5

William Joseph Stuart, 22 or 23, of Providence, was charged with two counts of Carrying a pistol without a license or permit; Driving after his license was denied, revoked or suspended, third offense; Driving with an expired registration; Improper use of evidence of registration or certificate; and Operating without evidence of insurance, first offense.

July 6

Brandon A. Mott, 37 or 38, of West Warwick, was taken into custody on a bench warrant.

Everett F. Gibbons, 44 or 45, of North Kingstown, was cited for Driving after his license was denied, revoked or suspended, third offense; Speeding (1 to 10 mph over posted speed limit); Driving with an expired registration; Improper use of evidence of registration or certificate; and Operating without evidence of insurance, first offense.

George Alexander Alzate, 34 or 35, of Miami, Fla., was charged with Drug Possession (Schedule I,II,III,IV,V) and an outstanding bench warrant.

Julie Mathers, 42 or 43, of West Warwick, was charged with misdemeanor Shoplifting and cited for Driving without a license (or with an expired license), second offense.

July 8

Amanda Cahoon, 41 or 42, of Plainfield, Conn., was cited for Driving after her license was denied, revoked or suspended, first offense.

Nathan Buffi, 18, of Smithfield, was charged with Simple Assault or Battery and Disorderly Conduct.

Karen Lynn Courtney, 46 or 47, of East Greenwich, was charged with misdemeanor Shoplifting.

Alexander Francis D. Caputo, 25 or 26, of Coventry, was taken into custody on a bench warrant.
