COVENTRY, RI — Police charged one suspect with shoplifting and one with drunk driving. Three drivers were cited for traffic offenses. Information is from the police log. All suspects are innocent until proven guilty.
May 26
Nathan P. Simonelli, 23 or 24, of Scituate, was charged with Driving under the influence, first offense; Refusal to submit to a chemical test; and was cited for laned roadway violations; speeding (11 and more miles above the posted speed limit), first offense; and marijuana possession (1 oz. or less by a person 17 or older).

Andrew A. Gelinas, 32 or 33, of West Warwick, was charged with Driving after his license was denied, revoked or suspended, third offense.
Matthew J. Loranger, 27 or 28, of West Warwick, was charged with misdemeanor Shoplifting.

Glen C. Bjorklund, 29 or 30, of West Warwick, was cited for Driving after his license was denied, revoked or suspended, second offense; and Driving with a suspended registration.
Anthony Domenic Simeone, 22 or 23, of Coventry, was cited for Driving after his license was denied, revoked or suspended, second offense.
