Coventry Police Release Identity Of Fatal Crash Victim
The crash closed down Tiogue Avenue at Arnold Road for nearly two hours Sunday evening.
COVENTRY, R.I. -- Coventry Police have released the name of the victim in Sunday evening's fatal crash on Tiogue Avenue. Darwin Collins, of Woodmist Circle, was 53 years old.
The Around 4:45 p.m., Collins crashed into a utility pole near the intersection of Tiogue Avenue, Arnold Road, and Sandy Bottom Road. Emergency responders administered CPR at the scene before Collins was transported to Kent Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

Tiogue Avenue was closed to traffic for nearly two hours as crews worked to clear the crash.
