Coventry Recent Arrests
During the first week of May, police arrested several suspects for financial crimes.

COVENTRY, RI — Police arrested two New York City suspects. They were charged in connection with a credit card theft. They also cited several motorists for violations.
May 1
Su Ren Rogers, 22 or 23, of Coventry, was taken into custody on a bench warrant.

Margaurite Chanyez Thorbourne, 20 or 21, of Brooklyn, N.Y., was charged with felony theft (obtaining credit card); conspiracy and obstructing an officer.
Taylor Laporscha, 24 or 25, of Brooklyn, N.Y., was charged with conspiracy.

Reported on April 3, Zachary J. Hoxsie, 32 or 33, of West Greenwich, was charged with fraudulent checks over $1,500.
Reported on April 21, Victor Limehouse, 30 or 31, of Providence, was charged with embezzlement (fradulent conversion over $100).
May 2
Anthony J. Barreto, 42 or 43, of West Warwick, was charged with Duty to Stop (Accident resulting in personal injury or death); and Driving to endanger (resulting in physical injury).
May 3
Paul R. Wilson, 64 or 65, of Coventry, was charged with Domestic Simple Assault and Battery; Domestic vandalism (malicious injury to property); and Domestic Disorderly Conduct.
Shannon Marie Clark, 34 or 35, of Coventry, was charged with Driving after the license was denied, revoked or suspended, second offense.
May 4
Brett D. Tanner, 28 or 29, of East Syracuse, N.Y., was charged with Driving under the influence, first offense; and Speeding (11 mph or more in excess of the posted speed limit).
