Coventry Recent Arrests

Here are arrests from the Coventry police log through May 6.

COVENTRY, RI — Police charged nine people in the period between May 5 and May 6. Five were cited for driving violations. Two were taken into custody on bench warrants. One was charged with violating a no contact order, and one was arrested for simple assault and battery.

May 5

John P. McEvoy, 23 or 24, of Cranston, was charged with Driving after his license was denied, revoked or suspended, second offense.

May 6

David Vlado, 30 or 31, of Providence, was charged with Driving after his license was denied, revoked or suspended, third offense.

Timothy Edmund Diffley, 54 or 55, of West Warwick, was arrested on a bench warrant from Second District Court.

Francis O. Meseck, 50 or 51, of Warwick, was charged with Driving after his license was denied, revoked or suspended, first offense.

Monica Melo, 21 or 22, of West Warwick, was charged with Driving under the Influence, first offense; Refusal to submit to a chemical test; Obedience to traffic devices; Lane violations; Speeding (11 mph or more above the posted speed limit); and Manner of turning at intersection.

Kimberly A. Elliott, 46 or 47, of Coventry, was charged with Driving after her license was denied, revoked or suspended, first offense; and Operating a motor vehicle when the registration is suspended.

Mark Lafleur, 46 or 47, of West Warwick, was charged with Violating a no contact order.

Suade Rogers, 22 or 23, of Warren, was taken into custody on a bench warrant from Third District Court.

Jamie M. Medeiros, 22 or 23, of Coventry, was charged with Simple assault or battery.
